Downsizing or moving into a smaller home residential living can be a difficult task.

We know that years of accumulation makes the process feel overwhelming.

I can guide you ( and your family members ) through the tough decisions about what to keep and what to pass along and help you make the transition as seamless as possible with a caring sensitive approach.

Relocating aging parents or other loved ones from their longtime memory filled home to a smaller place or a new community, residential living is a challenge for them and those that help them.

Personal items from the residents previous home can also create a sense of familiarity. This may include pictures, furniture or comfort items such as blankets. Allowing the person to personally pick these items will help them contribute to the sense of control that can be so important to a healthy adjustment to retirement/nursing living.
