Hi, I'm Lara.

I am a mother of two grown up children who now have their own ambitions in life which now brings me here as they no longer need me as such.
My passion (or those that know me may refer to it as a slight obsession) is improving the way we live by tidying, decluttering and enhancing that look and feel of clear calm organisation. As we all know the saying tidy house tidy mind.
I thoroughly enjoy the sense of calm and satisfaction and what it gives to people. If I can make someone feel more positive and happy by doing this, it makes me very happy too.
During my work as a private nanny/housekeeper (fairy god mother as they like to call me) to an amazing family, that I developed a better understanding and appreciation for a sense of order and simplicity. Having to work with the family and their children day to day tasks activities and routines in a very busy household.
Whilst working as a nanny for over 15 years, I have seen first hand how creating better spaces has the ability to make life that bit easier and more enjoyable. This also frees up time that we once could have used looking for things in the chaos. I have organised nursery’s for new arrivals, playrooms to kitchens and cupboards and wardrobe management, paperwork and house moves.
My list is endless.
I was asked to take on larger projects for friends and family and this is when I realised, why not do this on a regular basis because this is what I love.
I have visited many homes from perfect to complete chaos and helped a great deal of people with diverse needs and circumstances. Nothing will faze me and I will not judge and have complete empathy in every situation.
It has shown me how small changes can have big impacts, all it takes is a beginning.

Getting organised isn't about perfection, it's about helping to lower anxiety and stress, creating more time and space,saving you money, improving relationships and wellbeing, and reducing distractions.

To discuss your own bespoke needs
by phone or in person, there’s no obligation.
Monday - Friday £30 per hour (3 hours minimum)
Additional costs for weekends evenings and bank holidays to be discussed per client.
Collaborations with councils, housing associations and other agencies £35 per hour.
I TRAVEL TO YOU
Travel from HP21 of up to 20 miles each way is included. Additional travel above 20 miles will be charged at £0.45 per mile.
I CAN TAKE YOUR STUFF AWAY
If you would like me to take unwanted items to chosen charity shops at the end of the session I will be more than happy to with no extra charge (limited to what I can fit in my car).
A 50% deposit will be required to secure the booking. If you need to cancel a session at least 48 hours noticed is required. All deposits are non-refundable, but can be transferred to another date.
Payment is due at the end of each decluttering session for the hours worked.I accept cheques, cash or bank transfers.
